My Good Reads 2016 – 2nd Quarter

Capture

In my Goodreads account, I set a goal to read 20 books in 2016, just to be safe 😀 because I know I can make more than that.  And I’m one book ahead of schedule 😀

1st quarter – 5 books
2nd quarter – 6 books

Here’s the books I’ve finished reading for the 2nd quarter of 2016.

1. The girl on the train by Paula Hawkins

Intense. Thrilling.

This jaw dropping, mind blowing, and a mysterious book that will awaken your mind while reading the story because every scene is part of the whole book. ‘walang tapon’.

Rachel is the girl on the train; she uses the train every day to get to her work. One day while on the train, she witnessed something that can help the police in a mysterious absence of Megan; the girl she used to watch and observe every day.

Rachel’s marriage with Tom didn’t work out well because of another woman named Ana.

Rachel, Tom, Ana, Megan and Scott, their lives will be tangled as they uncover the truth.

The book was released February last year, but over the span of 2 months, it has sold over 1 million copies worldwide and by April 2015 it has sold more than 3 million copies in the US alone. Imagine the craze of people wanting to read this book. You better read it to know why. 🙂
